Mufti advisor in US to revive Ramadan spirit

Egypt's Mufti Dr Shawqi Allam has delegated his advisor Dr Ibrahim Negm to the US to revive the Ramadan spirit at Islamic centers in New York and Washington.
The move comes as part of efforts to spread correct religious teachings among Muslims around the world, a statement by the Iftaa House said Wednesday.
The biggest Muslim communities in the US are present in New York and Washington, the statement said.
During his stay in the US, Negm is also scheduled to deliver religious lectures and answer questions of Muslims there.
He will also attend a number of seminars and give interviews to review religious updates, as well as the latest developments in Egypt.
