
The third International Conference on Language, Literature and Translation will kick off Thursday at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).
As more as 100 participants from Oman and other countries around the world will take part in more than 100 sessions of the conference. Key speakers, representing academics, researchers and well-known world figures will deliver speeches on fields of language, linguistics, literature, translation and studies on cultures.
The conference seeks to highlight the relationship between global issues in the four areas of language, linguistics, literature and translation to clarify the existing relations among these studies.
The conference will also explain how languages and literature are linked and at the same time maintaining their identity at the global context.
