
The reception of the organisers and sponsors of the Abu Dhabi Tour by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, reflects the desire of wise leadership to appreciate their efforts and giving, a UAE official has said.
H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said, "The reception represents an important additional support to our active plans to host international sporting events and realise our vision to make Abu Dhabi an international sporting capital, doubling the determination of organisers and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council family, and the sponsors and supporters."
Sheikh Nahyan thanked Sheikh Hazza for receiving the organisers, sponsors and supporters of the Abu Dhabi Tour, which was held under his patronage and direct support.
He praised the role of Emirati volunteers who showed an excellent example of overseeing the organisation of important sporting events, while highlighting the importance of the exemplary partnership exhibited by sponsoring institutions.
Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Commander-in-Chief of the Abu Dhabi Police, also thanked Sheikh Hazza for this gesture. He added that the Abu Dhabi Police General Command provided great support to the international sporting event.
