Palestinian president to visit Russia on Tuesday

The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will arrive here on Tuesday on a three-day official visit to Russia at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Faed Mustafa announced.
He will hold talks with President Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and other senior Russian officials on the latest political developments in the region, bilateral relations and regional and global issues of mutual concern.
President Abbas will also visit Saint Petersburg city where he will talks with local officials on joint relations.
