Parl't authorizes petroleum minister to sign exploration contracts

The House of Representatives has authorized the petroleum minister to sign oil and gas exploration contracts across Egypt.
The petroleum minister should sign exploration contracts covering the areas of West Qaroun in the Western Desert, and Shuqair in the Gulf of Suez.
He will also sign contracts to explore for oil and gas in the Mediterranean areas of North el Hammad, Ras el Esh, North el Tabiya and North East Habi.
