
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab left for Equatorial Guinea overnight Monday on a two-day visit to the African country for talks with senior officials there.
The talks will focus on bilateral relations and cooperation at the African level.
Mahlab is also scheduled to attend the first conference to combat Ebola. He will deliver a speech on Egypt's efforts to help African countries combat the disease.
The premier will also inaugurate the new Egyptian Embassy in Malabo.
During his stay, Mahlab will also visit the headquarters of the Arab Contractors Co. to follow up infrastructure and housing projects.
Mahlab is also set to meet with representatives of the Egyptian community in Equatorial Guinea to post them on the latest developments in Egypt.
On Wednesday, Mahlab will leave Equatorial Guinea for Italy, where he will be taking part in a Milan fair to be held on July 22-24.
