Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese visited the Coptic Orthodox Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Amsterdam on Thursday.
Pope Tawadros arrived in The Netherlands on the first-leg of a pastoral tour in Europe.
While in The Netherlands, he will open a new church and meet with the Coptic orthodox community there.
The week-long tour will also take him to France and Austria.
He will then leave for France for a conference on Coptic Orthodox Churches outside Egypt.
