Pope Tawadros starts visit to Luxor

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese Monday started a visit to Luxor, his first since his inauguration, to inspect a number of churches in the Upper Egyptian city.
Tawadros is also scheduled to visit a number of churches in the Upper Egyptian city of Qena.
This is part of his tour of the two Upper Egyptian cities, where he will meet with Copts.
The pope will also visit archaeological sites in Luxor before he returns to Cairo on Friday.
