Pope Tawadros to visit Russia on October 28

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese will visit Russia on October 28, Papal sources told MENA reporter.
Pope Tawadros will go for a pastoral trip to the Coptic Orthodox Church in Russia to enhance relations between the Egyptian and Russian churches, the sources said.
The sources said Pope Tawadros will pay a visit to Austria following Russia’s visit.
In a weekly sermon on Wednesday, Pope Tawadros said that a mass will be held next week to commemorate the victims of the Waraq church attack.
On October last year, unknown assailants opened fire during a wedding ceremony held at the church in Al-Warraq, leaving 5 people dead.
