Preparations are underway for an Egyptian-Bahraini business exhibition due to be held in May, a Bahraini official said.
In statements to MENA on Tuesday, board member of the Bahraini Chamber of Commerce and Industry Afnan Alzayani, who chairs the Bahraini side at the joint business council, said the exhibition would offer a great chance for boosting economic cooperation between the two sides.
The exhibition would cover several sectors, including pharmaceutical, nutrition and tourism domains, she said.
Bahrain is in need for foreign labor, especially Egyptian, in view of its fast growing economy, she said.
The volume of trade exchange between the two sides is not up to the required level given the depth of relations between Cairo and Manama, she added.
