President of Gabon, Ali Bongo, has visited the UAE pavilion, organised by National Media Council (NMC), at Expo Milan 2015.
Received by Mubarak Al Dhaheri, director of the pavilion, President Bongo watched the film 'Family Tree', whose theme focuses on challenges and difficulties, which had been undergone by the Emirati people before the discovery of oil.
He toured the pavilion sections, where he was briefed on the UAE's experience in the light of its participation at Expo Milan 2015.
President Bongo praised the design of the pavilion in terms of advanced technology that portrays the lifestyle of the UAE and progress in all fields.
He expressed his confidence that Dubai will succeed in hosting Expo 2020, citing the UAE's ability to impress the world in hosting this major international event.
Since May, the UAE pavilion has been registering a huge turnout at Milan Expo in which 148 countries, and regional and international organisations are taking part. It has been receiving high-profile officials too.
