
Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the 69th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, has participated in a meeting of the Group of Friends of Libya, consisting of a group of Arab and European countries and the United States in addition to the United Nations and European Union.
The meeting, which was called for by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to be held in New York on the sidelines of the session of the General Assembly, discussed the critical situation in Libya and its developments in general.
The meeting was also attended by Foreign Ministers of the United States of America, Britain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Turkey, Algeria, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Tunisia, as well as representatives from the European Union and the United Nations.
