Qatari FM Khalid al-Attiyah visits Turkey Saturday

Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid al Attiyah will arrive here Saturday on an official visit where he will hold discussions with his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
The two sides will discuss the preparations for the higher strategic committee formed upon a memorandum of understanding inked by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad al Thani in December 19, according to a statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
The meeting will also take up joint cooperation as well as number of regional issues.
