Qena Governor Abdel Hamid el Haggan inspected on Saturday al Ma'na spillway to ensure that flood water coming from the Red Sea mountains pours safely into the spillway.
The governor also inspected the Sohag-Qena desert road that was damaged by torrential rains.
At least four people were killed, 29 injured and others went missing on Friday when their cars overturned on the Qena-Sohag highway due to torrential rains that caused damage and erosion to the road.
