
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu left Cairo Tuesday after a visit to Cairo where he was received by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and discussed mutual files and military cooperation between Egypt and Russia along with the situation in the region and combating terror.
During the meeting, Sisi asserted Egypt’s keenness to cooperate with Russia in the different domains.
Meanwhile, Shoygu voiced Russia’s appreciation to Egypt’s role in achieving security and stability in the region.
Shoygu also said that Russia is looking forward to supporting cooperation relations in the different fields especially the military field.
