
H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sports Council has issued a resolution setting up the executive office of Abu Dhabi Tour, the professional cycling race set to take place in October in Abu Dhabi.
According to the resolution, Mattar Suhail Al Yabhouni, member of the board of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, will be chairman of the office, with Aref Hamad Al Awani as deputy chairman, and Usama Ahmed Al Shafaar, Talal Mustafa Al Hashimi, Ahmed Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Ahmed Ismail Al Hosani, and Lorenzo Giorgiti, representative of RCS Sports and Events, Abdul Nasser Yousef Omran, representative of the UAE Cycling Federation, Yaqoub Al Saadi as representative of Abu Dhabi Media Company, Saeed Al Hamli, representative of the Department of Transport-Abu Dhabi, Captain Waleed Zaher Al Na'ebi, representative of Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, Duccio Ticciati, as members and Mohammed Ahmed Al Rumaithi as rapporteur.
Abu Dhabi is part of the Asia Tour calendar of Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) for 2015 and will be held from 8-11 October in four legs with a total distance of 555 kilometres.
