
The Qatari Sheikh Thani bin Hamad bin Khalifa and the State Minister and Chairman of the board of directors of the Qatari Charity Organization, Sheikh Hamad bin Naser bin Jasim, Tuesday arrived in Khartoum to attend the inauguration of Rufaqaa Model Village for Orphan in Nahral-Neil State.
They were received at Khartoum Airport by the Assistant of the President of the Republic, Maj. Gen. Abdul-Rahman Al-Saddiq Al-Mahdi, and a number of ministers and the Ambassador of Qatar to Sudan, Rashid bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Neaimi.
Qatar is implementing Rufaqaa Model Village for Orphan in Nahral-Neil State at the cost of 32 million riyals.
The village will provide services for the orphans in the fields of accommodation, health, education, qualification, sports and entertainment.
Around 200 families of the orphans will benefit directly from the village, besides more than 5000 persons of the neighboring village who will benefit directly.
