
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met Saturday with UAE Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
During the meeting, Shoukry conveyed a verbal message from Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan.
Shoukry, meanwhile, hailed the UAE's supportive stances to Egypt, saying that Egypt appreciates its ties with the UAE and is keen on promoting cooperation within the upcoming phase, according to Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.
The UAE crown prince underlined the close ties binding Egypt and the UAE, added the spokesman.
The UAE official further affirmed that the UAE is keen on confronting the current challenges and promoting coordination regarding the challenges besetting the region, he added.
