Singaporean president visits Giza pyramids plateau
The Pyramids of Giza.

Singaporean President Tony Tan visited on Thursday the Giza Pyramids plateau before leaving the country.
It is a pleasure to visit the pyramids, he said.
He was welcomed by Director General of the Giza Plateau Ashraf Mohy.
The president was briefed during the tour on the history of the area and its main monuments.
On Wednesday, the president had inspected the archaeological area in Old Cairo.
