
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi left here Wednesday en route to Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) in the Davos, Switzerland.
The Egyptian leader will deliver a speech on Thursday at a special meeting organized by the WEF.
On Friday, Sisi will chair an in-camera meeting on the ongoing efforts to root out extremism and violence in the Middle East.
The president will also hold talks with a number of world leaders, including Germany's Angela Merkel, King Abdullah of Jordan and President of the Swiss Confederation Simonetta Sommaruga.
The Egyptian leader is accompanied by the ministers of industry, finance and foreign affairs as well as the central bank governor.
