
Sudan’s President Omer Al-Bashir left on Friday for Ethiopia, chairing a high-level delegation, to participate in the Fifth Tana Forum on Security in Africa in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia on Saturday, Sudan News Agency reported.
A number of African heads of state and officials of international and regional organizations will be present during the forum.
The two-day Tana Forum aims to discuss issues of peace and security in Africa and means of enhancing the cooperation between the African governments for supporting the security in their countries.
Several lectures and symposiums will be organized during the forum on governance in Africa, security and peace in Africa and support to the peace-keeping operations in the continent.
