
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and also President of the University of Sharjah (UoS), yesterday morning attended the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Universities of Sharjah and Cairo at the President of UoS' office.
The move reflects the two universities' conviction about the importance of Arab and international cooperation in the fields of higher education, excellence in education, training and scientific research.
The deal was signed by both, the Chancellor of the UoS, Dr. Hamid M. Al Naimi, and the President of University of Cairo, Dr. Gaber Nassar.
Among the clauses of the MoU, the two parties will develop academic curricula, research, joint cooperation, hold conferences and workshops, exchange expertise and publications as well as conduct student and teaching staff swap programmes.
