Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil ordered on Sunday to form the Egyptian side of the Egyptian-Sudanese businessmen Council led by Eva Pharma Company managing director RIAD Armanious.
In a press release, the ministry said the move comes within efforts to foster bilateral ties in trade and investment fields in the coming period.
The minister asserted the importance of coordinating with the Sudanese private sector to establish joint projects.
The decision states that the council’s term is three years, the statement said, adding that the Egyptian side will raise a biannual report concerning the council’s efforts and activities to the minister.
