Pursuant to instructions of King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of general Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), military funeral honors were given, on Friday in Khemisset and Agadir, to two FAR soldiers of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), who were killed in an armed attack near the town of Bria.
The military honors were chaired by two FAR commissions, led by two General Officers, said a statement by FAR General Staff.
The funeral of the two deceased soldiers took place in the presence of their families and civil and military figures.
The two soldiers were killed on January 3rd in an armed attack north-east of Bangui.
The attack was perpetrated by an unidentified armed group against a patrol of FAR’s contingent, whose mission was to escort a UN logistics convoy.
