Dr. Ahmed Al Banna, UAE Ambassador to India, inaugurated the UAE-India Exhibition on Monday, in the presence of Kadakampally Surendran, Tourism Minister of the Indian State of Kerala.
The exhibition explores the bilateral relations between two countries across multiple disciplines and highlights Emirati-Indian ties through various mediums and topics. It also celebrates the overlapping elements in Emirati-Indian cultures, which go back decades and encompass social, urban and economic ties.
The exhibition is presented in Kochi in collaboration with the Kochi Biennale Foundation, with the support of the Department of Cultural Affairs in Kerala. It features exhibits that show the rich heritage and arts of the UAE, India and the State of Kerala, as well as the cultural bonding between the two nations.
