
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived Friday morning in Tunisia on a two-day official visit to the Arab country at an invitation by President Moncef Marzouki.
Upon arrival, Ban Ki-moon was received by Marzouki, Foreign Minister and the Resident coordinator of the UN Program for Development in Tunisia.
The UN chief is scheduled to have talks with President Marzouki, the Prime Minister, the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) President and the Foreign Minister.
Ban Ki-moon will also meet with Tunisian civil society activists.
