UN Assistant Secretary General and Executive Director of the UN Environment Program (UNEP) Achim Steiner will start on Tuesday a visit to Egypt for talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The UN official will also take part in the 15th Ordinary Session of the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN-15).
Egypt will take over the presidency of the conference from Tanzania for two years.
