The US Secretary of State John Kerry Monday evening reached New Delhi on a three-day visit to India, officials said.
"US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived here this evening," an official said.
Reports said Kerry and US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker will co-chair the second US-India strategic and commercial dialogue in New Delhi on Tuesday along with Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman.
Kerry would also be meeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit.
India's official broadcaster - All India Radio said the US-India strategic and commercial dialogue is a mechanism for advancing the shared priorities of generating sustainable economic growth, creating jobs, improving the business and investment climate, enhancing livelihoods and sustaining the rules-based global order.
