
Veteran Egyptian actor Said Saleh died Friday after a long struggle with peptic ulcer.
Saleh's health condition deteriorated a few days ago before he went into a coma.
He died earlier today at the age of 76.
His family is yet to announce the time of funeral prayers.
Saleh was receiving treatment at the military hospital in Maadi.
Saleh was born on July 13, 1939 in Cairo.
He is known for his roles in 'Al-Suqout Fi Bir Sabe' (1994), 'Nos Arnab' (1985) and 'Salam Ya Sahby' (1986).
He claimed fame when he appeared in the 'School of Rascals' play alongside late Ahmed Zaki and veteran actor Adel Imam.
He earned his bachelor of arts from Cairo University in 1960.
