
Yasmina Khadra and Ahlam Mosteghanemi will partake, alongside many other writers and artists from around the world, in the 33rd International Book Fair in Sharjah (United Arab States) scheduled from November 5 to 15, the organizers said.
Ahlam Mosteghanemi is considered one of the best Arab women writers of her generation.
She is the author of a consistent work, including "Dhakiratou el Jassad" (Memories of the Flesh, 1993) which won "Naguib Mahfouz" Award in 1998.
For his part, Francophone writer Yasmina Khadra (Mohamed Moulesshoul) is an author of a prolific work translated into forty languages and awarded numerous prizes including the Prize for Literature in 2011, Henri Gal and the vermeil medal of the French Academy.
More than 1,200 publishers and 59 countries participate in the 33rd International Book Fair in Sharjah.
