Acting police chief of Dar Saad city in Aden survived an assassination attempt after unidentified gunmen attacked a place he owns in the area, a security source said.
The Salafist chief suffer from a serious injury and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The gunmen threw an explosive device on the building then fled the area.
