Yemeni President appoints new Commander of the Fifth Military Region

Yemeni President, Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, last night issued a decision to appoint Brigadier General Adel Hashim Al Qumairi as a Commander of the Fifth Military Region, which has its central leadership headquarters in Al Hudaydah City on the Red-Sea, and promoted him to the rank of Major-General.
Yemeni media reported that President Hadi issued another decree appointing Brigadier General Ali Hamid Al Qushebi as an Adviser to the Defence Minister, also promoting him to the rank of Major-General.
