1 person dies, 6 infected with coronavirus in Saudi Arabia past 24 hours

One person passed away due to infection with coronavirus while six people caught the virus in different parts of Saudi Arabia over the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said Sunday. It added in a statement on its website that two of the infectees did not show any symptoms of the virus, three people in stable condition while the sixth was admitted in the intensive care unit, it added. The fatality took place in Riyadh. Five people who were infected with the coronavirus were announced dead by the ministry. As many as 480 people were infected with the virus since its outbreak in Saudi Arabia in 2012, among them 139 deaths. (end) od.bs
