Four women have died of cholera in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, said its governor Ali al-Timimi on Friday.
A Cholera outbreak has affected 56 people at Baghdad's Abu Ghraib neighborhood, according to Media Adviser to the governor Hamdallah al Rikabi.
Earlier this week, Baghdad Provincial Council announced on Saturday the emergence of cholera infections in areas west of Baghdad, stressing the need to rehabilitate the Abu Ghraib water project, which needs a billion dinars
