Qalubia prosecution launched Tuesday an investigation into seizure of 500 tons of milk unfit for human consumption in the stores of a dairy products company in El-Qanater El-Khayreyya city, northern Cairo. Qalubia prosecutor ordered arrest of four of the company officials for interrogation as the analysis results showed a type of bacteria in the milk samples. The prosecution's investigation revealed that the company uses imported milk in manufacturing processes before receiving the official analysis results of the samples. The central laboratories of the Health Ministry have proven all samples of the company's milk contaminated. Earlier, the security forces nabbed the company manager while trying to bribe an official to manipulate the report of the seizures.
