
Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority Anani Abdel-Aziz decided to refer eight doctors at Kafr Al-Dawar Public Hospital to disciplinary trial over their refusal to admit a patient in labor.
Accordingly, the woman was forced to give birth at the hospital's doorsteps and her life was put at risk.
The incident took place on October 10 created controversy in Egypt after a video showing the woman giving birth to a baby in front of Kafr Al-Dawar hospital went viral online.
In the short video clip, uploaded to YouTube, a woman was shown giving birth in the street aided by nurses in front of Kafr Al-Dawar hospital.
