The second DNA Health Corp Investor Conference, the annual meeting of this US-based company, is being held on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island next week ahead of next year’s Q1 opening of its integrative medicine and wellness centre in the UAE capital. Supported by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) the conference will run Dec.18-19 on Saadiyat Island, with an anticipated audience of 150 largely US-based existing and potential investors. “These are business people interested in partnering our Saadiyat Island facility which will be our inaugural global flagship integrative medicine and wellness centre,” explained Dr Nasim Ashraf, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, DNA Health Corp. The DNA facility, in The Collection complex of The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, is being seen as a major stride into opening Abu Dhabi up to the multi-billion-dollar global wellness and health tourism. Currently a $100 billion industry, the global wellness and health tourism sector is projected to grow to $1 trillion within the next decade. The UAE has been highlighted as playing ‘a significant role’ within the industry, according to a report released in November this year. From Gulf Today
