Al Rahba Hospital, a member of SEHA's Health System managed by John Hopkins, is organizing this month the Third National Women's Health Conference. The event, scheduled to be held on Nov 23rd at the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi, will see up to 1000 experts, specialists and stakeholders in the field of healthcare spotlight key concerns in women's health. Conference Director Dr. Nellie Boma, who is also the Chief Medical Officer at Al Rahba Hospital, will offer welcoming remarks to kick-start proceedings, followed by Dr. Karen Carbone, Deputy Chief Clinical Officer, SEHA. The Conference will highlight key health issues confronting women, including chronic obstructive lung, cervical cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, diabetes, complications related to smoking cessation, thyroid disease during pregnancy, diseases of the heart and blood vessels, plastic surgery, prenatal care, osteoporosis and mental health. The Health Authority Abu Dhabi has accredited the conference as being worth 12.5 Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours for attendees.
