
The Arab League will organize on Monday a forum on the outbreak of the fatal disease Ebola and means of transmission and precautions.
Antoine Bieler, the representative for the Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors without Frontiers (MSF) in the Middle East, along with a number of experts will attend the forum.
Ebola virus can be transmitted by direct contact with blood, body fluids, or skin of EVD patients or persons who have died of EVD. As of October 23, 2014, 450 healthcare personnel are known to have become infected with Ebola, of whom 244 died.
