
Arab Medical Union (AMU) Secretary General Assistant Gamal Abdel Salam met with Head of "Burma's Muslims" Institution in Cairo Omar Farouk to discuss means of helping students of Myanmar (formerly known as Burma).
During the meeting, Farouk probed the conditions of Myanmar's students in Egypt as well as their needs.
Abdel Salam said that the union will offer aid to them, adding that the union will carry out intensified contacts with the bodies concerned to offer help for those students in the educational field.
For his part, the ADU Secretary General Osama Raslan said that the relief and emergency committee of the union will implement developmental projects in Myanmar during the coming phase.
