
The Kingdom of Bahrain participates in the third meeting of the World Health Organisation (WHO)'s Regional Office for the East Mediterranean in the period January 11-13.
Attended by more than 170 international, regional and national experts from the region, the meeting discusses anti-Ebola virus readiness plans focusing on the implementation of global health regulations. The meeting comes after the WHO's experts had assessed anti-Ebola readiness in 18 countries.
The Bahraini delegation comprises the chief of Contagious Diseases Unit Dr. Kubra Al Sayed, Public Health Consultant Dr. Mona Al Mosawi and Senior Communication Officer for International Health Regulations.
