
Bahrain will host the eighth Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Orthopedic Radiology Association on Saturday.
"The convening of this conference in the Kingdom of Bahrain will boost its regional and international position," Ministry of Health (MoH)'s Undersecretary Dr. Ayesha Mubarak Bu Enq said.
"The conference will consolidate Bahrain's position and the importance of Bahrain expertise. It will contribute in developing national cadres skills and medical techniques. The ministry will showcase breakthroughs in the field in line with government policy led by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister aimed to promote the Kingdom as a destination of medical tourism," she said.
The conference organising committee's head Dr. Mai Mattar said the conference will host a joints' video imaging workshop, training workshop for radiology, orthopedic surgeon interns on the conference side-lines.
The conference will be attended by doctors from Bahrain, GCC and Arab countries.
