Health Minister Sadiq bin Abdulkarim Al-Shehabi visited the Bahrain International Circuit and inspected medical preparations for the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, set to start today and conclude on Sunday (April 19-21).The minister was updated on preparations at the (BIC) Medical Centre and the annual Federation International de L’Automobile (FIA) official safety training on dealing with potential accidents on the circuit and ways of rescuing drivers and pulling them out.The minister was briefed on coordination between the Health Ministry team and the and the BDF Hospital medical taskforce, as well as emergency training plans on evacuating the injured to the Salmaniya Medical Complex and the BDF Hospital.Mr. Al-Shehabi also met the official representative of the Federation International de L’Automobile (FIA) and discussed preparations for the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2013.
