
The Ministry of Health won the "Best Government Portal" award at the 3rd GCC e-Government Award, Conference and Exhibition, held here under the patronage of the UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum from December 9 to 11. The Health Ministry's website received the award in recognition of the quality of services provided, in line with the ministry's desire to deliver effective services to the visitors through the suggestions and complaints e-services and e-statistics. Minister of Health Dr. Sadeq bin Abdulkarim Al-Shehabi expressed the Ministry's pride in earning such a landmark achievement which adds to the kingdom's rich record of milestone accomplishments, congratulating the wise leadership and the Bahraini people for such an achievement. He said the award is the outcome of the wise leadership's sound directives, follow-up and interest in upgrading the quality of health services. CEO of the e-Government Authority Mohammed Al Qaed congratulated the Minister of Health on such an occasion.
