
Minister of Health, Sadiq bin Abdulkarim Al-Shihabi, marking International Women's Day, paid tribute to Bahraini women and their contributions to serving the homeland at all fields, in particular health one.
Health Minister highlighted the support provided for Bahraini women and the many gains brought by Bahrain's leadership the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).
He lauded the SCW plans and strategies and efforts of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and SCW President in empowering Bahraini women and integrating them into the comprehensive development programmes based on equal partnership.
He commended the efforts of Health Ministry's Equal Opportunities Committee in promoting Bahraini women's empowerment strategy.
He wished Bahraini women further successes to come in line with bright achievements made in the prosperous era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
