
In keeping with its global medical education initiatives, Cleveland Clinic once again supports the Arab Health Congress, which will be held at Dubai International Convention '&' Exhibition Center Ffrom January 27 to 30, 2014. Organized by Informa Life Sciences Exhibition, the leading annual medical congress in Dubai is the fifth that Cleveland Clinic supports and accredits under its Center for Continuing Education. Cleveland Clinic also presents for the third year in a row the Cleveland Clinic Young Clinician of the Year Award in the Arab Health Awards Ceremony during the Congress. More than 15 key physicians from Cleveland Clinic, in Ohio, will speak at the congress about different topics including quality in healthcare, general surgery, cardiovascular care, colorectal surgery, orthopedic surgery, urology, liver diseases, asthma and pediatric pulmonology, pediatric neurology, spinal surgery and changes in spinal marrow, pathology and laboratory medicine, and diabetes care, including a review on insulin pumps, among others. Cleveland Clinic accredits several conferences within the four-day Arab Health Congress, including the Anesthesia Conference, the Radiology Conference, the Orthopedic Conference, MEDLAB Conference, the Surgery Conference, the Urology Conference, the Pediatrics Conference, the Gastroenterology Conference, the Quality Management in Healthcare Conference, the Respiratory, Critical Care and Sleep Disorders Conference, the Wound Care Conference, the Diabetes Conference, the Cardiovascular Disease and Intervention Conference, and the Leaders in Healthcare Conference.
