Daqhalia directorate denies bird flu death

The Daqahlia Health Directorate denied some media reports that a patient died of bird flu.
The directorate said there is no bird flu deaths in the governorate.
Health Ministry Undersecretary in Daqahlia Saad Mekki said some media reports claimed that a 30 year old woman who checked into new Mansoura hospital on January 9 died of bird flu.
He said when the women checked into hospital, all needed precautionary measures and tests were done and she tested negative for the disease.
