A seasonal influenza case was reported dead on Saturday after suffering an acute viral infection.
Dean of Aswan Faculty of Medicine Hussein Sherif told MENA that a 45-old man suffered severe pneumonia caused by the H1N1 virus and died later of a heart attack.
Seasonal influenza is an acute viral infection that spreads easily from person to person, affects anybody in any age group and causes annual epidemics that peak during winter in temperate regions.
