Doctor held for prescribing unlicensed drugs

The Anti-narcotics Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police arrested an Arab doctor who prescribed unlicensed medicines to young people so that they could take psychotropic substances. The details of the case date back to the time when the department received a tip-off that the suspect was writing prescriptions for unlicensed medicines. The suspect was giving medicines without citing reasons. He was treating the psychological conditions that need treatment from a specialist psychologist. The Public Prosecution issued an arrest memo to catch him redhanded.
