Egypt's forensic medicine spokesman relieved of duty

Head of the Egyptian Forensic Medicine Authority Mahmoud Ali on Tuesday relieved the authority's spokesman Hisham Abdel Hamid of his duty.
The decision was taken following media statements by Abdel Hamid on a number of issues of public concern.
Head of the Forensic Medicine Authority filed a complain to Assistant Justice Minister Abdel Rehim El Sagheir on remarks made by the spokesman on satellite channels on the performance of the authority in a number of cases which are currently being handled as well as the medical reports issued by its laboratories.
